IPM, Essen is the largest show of its kind in Germany with approximately 110,000 sqm in 16 adjacent exhibition halls at the Messe, Essen. In 2011 the show attracted:
• around 60,000 Trade visitors from all continents
• 1,508 exhibitors from 47 countries
Pot plants, foliage plants and nursery stock are the main exhibits at the show but there are also halls for products, equipment, retail and floristry sundries.
The show now attracts around 60,000 visitors from the whole of Europe and further afield including;
• Commercial Growers
• Wholesalers
• Retailers
For well over a decade, CHA has organised a UK Group Stand in Hall 10 supported by UK Trade & Investment. Hall 10 is one of the main nursery stock halls and is ideal for companies selling trees, shrubs and herbaceous plant. The UK stand is also close to the access leading to the upper and lowers retail and floristry halls.
Hall 3 Satellite Stand
For the first time in 2011, and at the request of a growing number of 'non-plant' companies wishing to exhibit at IPM, we organised a satellite stand in Hall 3 for exhibitors from the horticultural supplies sector, substrates, glasshouses etc. We plan to continue and expand this satellite stand in future editions.
We are hopeful that a limited number of Grants will be available to eligible UK companies exhibiting on the UK Group Stand in 2012 - details will follow in due course.
